Peter Zingeler, member Calgary Chess Club Hall of fame passed away

It’s with sorrow and sadness I have to report that Peter Zingeler, member of the Calgary Chess Club Hall of Fame, the chief organizer of the 1975 Canadian Open in Calgary and a former president of the Black Knight chess club in Calgary in the 70’s and 80’s passed away in Victoria on February 18, 2021.
