The Calgary Chess Club offers regular weekly meetings, lessons, and structured competitive events. We are a registered member of national and international chess governing bodies. We continually work towards improving the skill level of our members and raising the profile of the game in schools and the larger community.

Hours of Operation
The Calgary Chess Club is open most weekday nights, and weekends for larger tournaments.

Tuesday            Classic Chess Tournament night                7:00pm to 10:30 pm
Wednesday       Blitz Chess - $5 gets you into the game    7:00pm to 10:00pm
Thursday           Chess Classes with Paul Gagne                6:00pm to 7:15 pm
Friday                Friday Open House and Family Social       7:00pm to 10:00pm

Open House on Friday 9th January 2026 is cancelled, as CCC is hosting a major ACA/CCC tournament that weekend.
