The prestigious Alberta Open Tournament starts on October 10th 2026, and will be held in Calgary at the Best Western Premier Plaza, 1316 33 St NE - not at CCC.  This is an ACA event.

CCC is not involved in the registration or organization so you cannot register on this CCC website or at CCC itself.  Please register at https://www.calgaryjuniorchess.com/CJCC/event/event/54891.

Early registration discounts are available.  Onsite registration will not be available.

ACA is encouraging more juniors to particpate in this larger venue.  For adults the same events will be available as in previous years.  Please support ACA's and Alex Nguyen's drive to push for more chess participation in Calgary and benefit from this lovely larger venue.
