IM norms possible but not likely due to low attendance by GM/IMs

Time control: 90 30 seconds increment per move

Entry fees: Registered before October 1st, 2023: $225 

Registered before December 1st, 2023: $275 (if spaces available)

Registered after December 1st, 2023: $350 (if spaces available)

Discounts: FM/WGM/WIM/WFM: $100 off

Non-Canadian Federation: $100 off

Discounts are cumulative so a non-Canadian FM who registers by October 1st only pays $25.

GM/IM: free.

Withdrawals:  Withdrawals until December 1st are fully refunded.  Withdrawals from December 2nd-25th, are refunded at 50% of the fee paid.

Late default time: 30 minutes

Byes: Two half point byes if announced before round 1.  No norms are possible if byes are taken.

Pairings:  round 1 pairings will be available at 5:50 on Dec 26.  Subsequent pairings will be available no earlier than 2:30 pm for the evening rounds and 8:30 pm the night before for the morning rounds.

Prizes: $1900 total. - $1000, $500, $250, $150.
