FRIDAY OPEN HOUSE
This is a fun and friendly evening setting, ideal for first-time visitors to experience our wonderful club for free. Come and play some social chess, without the pressure of classical or speed tournament play. We will ask you to take out a membership next time!!
Our Friday evenings hours are 07:00pm to 10:00pm, but attendees can arrive and leave whenever they wish. During an evening, we will usually have 50 or so folk attending.
Just come on down. No registration required. Please introduce yourself to our Host Michael who will show you around.
Our club is on the 2nd floor with a long-ish straight flight of stairs. There is no elevator, so we regret that we are not accessble for mobility-challenged visitors.
Once every couple of months, we need to cancel our Friday Open House in favour of a large weekend tournament. At that time, we apologize that there will be no room for spectators or Open House players/visitors. We will post cancelled dates here and on our Facebook site.
