Eligibility: Anyone who will have reached the age of 50 by December 31, 2016

Tournament format: 5-round Open Swiss, CFC & FIDE rated.
CFC membership is required and may be purchased on site. Annual membership is $43, tournament membership is $21.
Time Control: Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move

On-site registration: 9:15 am – 9:45 am
Rounds 1-3: 10 am, 2 pm, 6 pm
Sunday, April 24, 2016
Rounds 4-5: 10 am, 2 pm or ASAP
Default late time is 60 minutes. A 30-minute break between games is guaranteed.

Entry Fee: $25 if paid prior to April 23, $30 on site. Free entry for GM/IM/FM title holders.

Prizes: Sum of entry fees minus ACA dues of $5 per player. The winner (from Alberta) receives a travel grant of up to $1,000 towards a trip to the 2016 Canadian Seniors Championship to be held in Surrey, BC.
